Steady Again ™️ Day Two: Why Breathwork Actually Works

When we feel anxious, our breathing often becomes faster and shallower. The nervous system interprets this as a sign that danger may be present.

One of the simplest ways to interrupt this cycle is through the breath.

ESPECIALLY THE EXHALE.

Longer exhales activate the parasympathetic nervous sytem- the body’s natural calming response.

Today we are practicing this together.
