Steady Again™️ Yoga for Perimenopausal Women

Yoga: to yoke

In Yoga we yoke the breath with movement.

Perimenopause can be a time of change that is so profound it affects every part of a woman’s body, mind, and spirit. Nervous system dysregulation and feeling like a complete stranger, to herself, are common among women going through the “change.” That is where yoga comes in.

Movement is regulating, and can restore self-trust, if done in a restorative environment. Yoga is not the intense, cortisol-heavy, age-fighting, fat-burning exercises that so many other approaches are. As a woman’s body adapts, yoga can help make her feel strong, yet safe.

I made seven different yoga videos available on this website and YouTube. These yoga videos are not a class, they are explanations of some poses and flows, videos to show how yoga can help with flexibility and strength for the changing body. Join me on a mat, the floor, your bed; or just watch for some ideas.
